• Five years with the State of Utah, Department of Insurance, Fraud Division, assisting insurance companies in investigating and prosecuting all aspects of insurance fraud.
• Retired from Public Safety in 1995.
• 11 years with the State of Utah, Department of Public Safety, Division of Investigations, with training in interviews and interigations. Assigned to narcotic investigations involving deep undercover, surveillance, as well as financial investigations.
• Excellent working relationship with all law enforcement agencies and prosecutors in the State of Utah as well as surrounding states.
• Supervisor of a squad at Salt Lake Metro Narcotics.
• Put together and administered Weber/Morgan Narcotic Task Force.
• Past president of the Utah Narcotic Officer’s Association.
• Seven years with Roy City Police Department assigned to the detective bureau. Investigated and assisted in the prosecution of robbery, burglary, theft, homicide, assault, juvenile crimes, etc.
• Two years with Weber County Sheriff’s Department assigned to traffic and patrol.
• Certified Fraud Examiner designation (CFE).
• Member of Board of the Utah Chapter of the International Association of Special Investigative Units (IASIU).
• Certified Firearms Instructor.
• POST and Police Corp instructor.
• Attended Weber State College majoring in Police Science.
